Concrete transport system
A concrete transport system ensures the transport of the concrete from the mixing plant to the concrete distributor.
Depending on the production layout, it is not always possible to ensure that the concreting is done in the immediate vicinity of the mixing plant. Often, multiple production locations are supplied from one mixing plant by means of concrete transport systems. If applicable, the bucket conveyor can have an intermediate silo added above the concrete distributor to act as another additional buffer and to further increase output.
Depending on the consistency of the concrete, a distinction is made between various bucket conveyor systems – for example, tipping buckets or buckets with bottom discharge.
