Acidification station

In acidification, the topmost layer of the precast concrete part is treated chemically with acid once it has hardened. This is usually done by bringing the concrete part horizontally into the station. The acid is applied with varying degrees of intensity to the concrete part, depending on the effect that is desired. The hardened cement paste that comes away as a result is removed mechanically with brushes or water jets.
