Stationary shunting systems

Normal pusher trucks, wheel set pusher trucks, coupling chain/small pusher trucks

For the shunting of individual trucks or trains. The shunting systems from Vollert represent compact, robust and reliable technology. Many of our shunting systems have a duplicated tensioning device for traction and return ropes. Our systems offer automatic retensioning of the rope as a matter of course. In use around the clock, around the world, in loading and unloading stations, in areas at risk from explosion, in train-washing plants and maintenance operations.

Normal pusher trucks

• Traction forces of up to 170 kN / max. hauled load approx. 4,000 t
• Shunting speeds with load 0.4 m/s / without load 0.8 m/s
• Shunting lengths up to 500 m
• Installation position extendable from the side or behind the stop buffers

Wheel-acting pusher truck

• Traction forces of up to 50 (70) kN / max. hauled load approx. 1,200 t
• Shunting speeds of up to 1.4 m/s
• Shunting lengths up to 500 m
• Double pusher rollers for safe operation
• The pusher rollers are extended and withdrawn as required at any point on the shunting section to make flexible and fully automatic work flows possible.

Chain coupling/small pusher trucks

• Traction forces of up to 30 kN (50 kN) / max. hauled load approx. 700 t
• Shunting speeds with load 0.3 m/s / without load 0.6 m/s
• Shunting lengths up to 200 m
• Installation either above ground or under the ground
