European Parliament Member, Michael Theurer, visited Vollert

Michael Theurer, Member of the European Parliament and Chairman of the Baden-Württemberg FDP gained a close-up insight into the technological capabilities of the plant manufacturer during an on-site company visit at Vollert. Theurer was impressed by the complex engineering projects that the company has been able to carry out worldwide throughout the past 90 years. During a personal conversation with the Managing Partner, Hans-Jörg Vollert, the addressed topics included the current European policy issues, Brexit, TTIP and the current situation within the euro zone. When it came to the topics economy and Europe, both parties had a unanimous opinion that family-owned business are crucial for the sustainable economic strength of Germany, whereas politicians are required to improve the framework conditions in order for this to continue in the future.
