31 30 TRIMET, GERMANY TRIMET Aluminium SE cools green anodes with a procedure that is unique in the world so far. The pilot plant reduces use of resources without any active cooling by water. Instead, it relies on cooling by natural convection with outdoor air. Together with Vollert, an entirely new high-bay storage has been designed and built for this special task. At the same time, automated transport technology prevents transport damage, thereby reducing green anode scrap.
