Chilean delegation gathers information on sustainable building systems

As part of a trade mission to Germany, some of the largest construction companies in Chile got acquainted with the latest trends within the field of sustainable building systems. Already in 2015, Vollert developed a special construction system for the earthquake-prone Andean Nation in collaboration with the Chilean construction company BauMax and the earthquake specialist Sirve SA. On an Industrial level, BauMax manufactures today anti-seismic walls and ceilings for various construction projects, such as residential and infrastructure projects, with plant equipment from Vollert. Philippe Marrié, Soledad Ufermann and Hans-Jörg Vollert personally welcomed the delegation in Weinsberg and showed possible approaches and Vollert's extensive expertise in this matter. The visit was organised by the German Chilean Chamber of Commerce and the Frauenhofer Institute in Santiago de Chile.
