Transfer carriages and travelling platforms

For the company-internal transport of heavy loads, Vollert can provide and install rail-bound transport vehicles and heavy load handling equipment for all application areas, e.g. for steel and iron works, the aluminium industry, the railway industry or in railway wagon manufacturing.

Transport carriages with lifting capacities up to 300 t for scrap baskets, slabs or coils are part of the product range in the same manner as complex automation systems. The systems are integrated into the on-site manufacturing facilities including the controller system that we developed. Our ultimate goal is to achieve an optimal solution in close cooperation with the customer. A well trained team of technicians and engineers is available for deployments around the world.

Gantry/trough travelling platforms, indoor and outdoor travelling platforms, recessed or overground routed travelling platforms are used, when rail vehicles or their components must be moved with only minimal spatial requirements. Vollert modernizes or manufacturers travelling platforms up to a length of 36 m and a load bearing capacity of up to 200 tons.
